The Two Moons
The two moons shine tonight,
their evil glow
Does light the way for goblins, devils, spooks
That wreak destruction while the world sleeps.
Had I the strength, I'd smite the baleful moons,
Knock them out of orbit, into space,
Plunge them headlong into Sol's embrace,
A fitting doom for those accursed orbs
Whose baleful glow so taints the work of Man
And paints the darkness with a blacker stain.
You think me mad? And what if that is so?
I speak the truth, and tell you this, my friend —
I know that when I die, the world will end.
